I find this appalling, that Marvel would distribute the historical comic to dealers based on the order from the previous month. This was not just a comic but a international event, and as such, Marvel should have made sure that anyone, and especially Marvel fans should have had the opportunity to purchase the first printing of Spiderman issue number #583. But they were all but not existent at stores and stands, and guess where the poor, and out of work laid off people have to purchase this issue, on EBay, for more than the national debt. Shame on you Marvel, I’ve been a Marvel fan since 1963 and this is the first time I am so disappointed in you and the way this was handled. Hey AIG, I mean, Meryl Lynch, or is it Bank of America, no Marvel, give the poor a break.
